Lake Country council is bringing back consideration of boat launch fees for commercial operators.
At its Jan. 16 regular meeting council reconfirmed the issue as a priority, after directing staff to investigate the implementation of fees in March 2022.
“We talked about this because the City of 麻豆精选 implemented boat launch fees,” said Mayor Blair Ireland. “And we were concerned…that people are coming to Lake Country to launch their boats so they don’t have to pay in 麻豆精选.”

Coun. Cara Reed said there has been an increase in commercial use in Carr’s Landing.
“It can take up a lot of parking spaces. Some of the behaviour hasn’t been the nicest that it could be.”
Reed added she has heard from the community that many of the operators are coming from 麻豆精选.
“Because we’re cheap. We cost nothing.”
Council voted unanimously to direct staff to further investigate the implementation of commercial boat launch fees.
