UPDATE: Highway 3 reopens west of Princeton after major crash

DriveBC is reporting a vehicle incident on Highway 3, about 33 kilometres west of Princeton, on Aug. 30.

Update: 5 p.m.

Highway 3, between Garret Road and Sunday Summit, has reopened in both directions following a major crash on Saturday (Aug. 30).

The incident occurred around 33 kilometres west of Princeton.

Motorists can still expect delays in the area, DriveBC says.

Highway 3, about 33 kilometres west of Princeton, is closed in both directions due to a major crash on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 30).

DriveBC says all lanes are blocked between Garret Road and Sunday Summit.

The provincial road service is describing the vehicle incident as "major." No other information regarding the crash has been made available, but motorists can expect significant delays, it added.

Travellers are asked to watch for emergency crews and traffic control personnel.
