A recent increase in toxic drug deaths in 麻豆精选 has Interior Health (IH) issuing an overdose alert.
According to the health authority, the current down/opioid supply is unpredictable in its makeup.
鈥淭hese drugs often contain benzodiazepines and/or potent tranquillizers in addition to fentanyl and analogues,鈥� stated IH.
This often means that there are different mechanisms of action and effects that amplify each other, contributing to a higher risk of overdoses and other complications.
The alert is in effect until May 16.
