Traffic is now single lane alternating on Highway 1 east of Revelstoke.
Expect delays in the area. Traffic control is on scene.

A vehicle incident has closed Highway 1 east of Revelstoke.
The highway is closed in both directions between the west boundary of Mount Revelstoke National Park and Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk for 8.5 kilometres.
No detour is available and no estimated time when the highway will reopen.
