UPDATE: Christmas Eve crash slows highway traffic in Vernon

UPDATE: SUNDAY, DEC. 24, 1:30 p.m.: The road has been cleared and traffic is moving in both directions.

ORIGINAL STORY

A multi-vehicle crash is impacting traffic in Vernon this Christmas Eve.

Emergency crews are on scene at the Highway 97 overpass in the north end of the city.

Northbound traffic is able to get through. Southbound traffic is being rerouted through 27th Street.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time, and it鈥檚 also not known exactly how many vehicles were involved or if there were any injuries.
