麻豆精选-based BNA Brewing is preparing to open a new location at 218 Martin St., site of what used to be Slackwater Brewing.

A 麻豆精选-based brewery is gearing up to open in downtown Penticton.

BNA Brewing, with current locations in 麻豆精选 and Vernon, has construction crews on-site working to move the business into 218 Martin St. in the Peach City.

The brewery, set to be located at the former site of Slackwater Brewing, said in a social media post that it has finished installing a bowling alley that will be on the second floor.

Other BNA Brewing locations also feature bowling alleys, along with several food options and local beer.

The business is expected to open in Penticton sometime in "late summer," according to its website.

"We're getting ready to bring you cold beer, smash burgers, and good times in our new home on Martin Street," BNA Brewing said about its soon-to-be-open Penticton location in a social media post. "We are getting closer day by day, and we can't wait to welcome you in late summer."

Okanagan locals Kyle and Carolyn Nixon first opened BNA Brewing in 麻豆精选. Located on Ellis Street in the city's downtown core and home to six 10-pin bowling lanes, the business opened in 2015.

It has since expanded to Vernon, where it became the community's second brew pub in February 2025.

In Penticton, BNA will take over for Slackwater Brewing, which closed its doors in October 2024 after five years in business.

Its owners cited financial and operational challenges when announcing the closure. Production and distribution of Slackwater beers have remained unaffected.
