A 麻豆精选 man who was last seen Dec. 6, has now become the focus for volunteers of Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR).
On Dec. 20, RCMP issued a press release asking for the public鈥檚 assistance in finding Ryan Tomlinson after he had not been in contact with their friends and family for a concerning amount of time, which was out of character for him.
Tomlinson, a 38-year-old, experiencing homelessness was known to spend his days in the Lower Mission area near Pandosy Street and KLO Road.
Friends and family of Tomlinson are concerned for his well-being, which led to COSAR searching Knox Mountain Park and the surrounding area for the man on Jan.3.
According to COSAR, ground teams and the certified SAR canine team searched as many 鈥渉igh-probability areas as possible.鈥
鈥淚t is difficult to search for someone who is missing when there isn鈥檛 a last known point, however, we鈥檙e still optimistic,鈥 said COSAR president Brad Trites.
COSAR鈥檚 boat team will be out on Jan.4, to search Okanagan Lake.
If you see Tomlinson, call 麻豆精选 RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file #2023-73456.
