A number of public information sessions on the North End Plan are being held over the next few weeks.
Following the postponement of activities due to wildfires in the Central Okanagan, 麻豆精选 residents can provide input on three neighbourhood concepts:
- Wednesday, October 11, 3-6 p.m., Okanagan Regional Library, Downtown 麻豆精选 Branch;
- Saturday, October 14, 9 a.m-1 p.m., Knox Mountain Park;
- Sunday, October 15, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Knox Mountain Park.
As well, an online survey on Get Involved has been extended to Oct. 15.
鈥淲e鈥檙e glad to be relaunching engagement and are looking forward to meeting with residents to share information, answer questions, and hear from the community,鈥 said Aaron Thibeault, project lead.
The North End Plan concepts are intended to give high-level direction for the entire neighbourhood, including the former Tolko Mill Site, a 17-hectare privately-owned waterfront property.

The Mill Site redevelopment is being addressed through a separate planning process being led by the landowner.
鈥淎t this stage, all North End and Mill Site concepts are drafts and open to change,鈥 Thibeault added. 鈥淔or the final concepts to come together, it鈥檚 important for both teams to hear from the community.鈥
