KCR Community Resources is hosting a Fall Hiring Fair on Tuesday, Sep. 26.
Participating businesses and organizations include Okanagan College, Central Okanagan Public Schools, Hyatt Place, Cintas, Back in Motion, and London Drugs.
鈥淭his is a time when many people, including skilled immigrants and newcomers to 麻豆精选, are looking for jobs,鈥� said Cindy Fairs, specialized employment consultant.
鈥淓mployment services of KCR has many programs available, including the Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants Program (CPSIP), designed to support individuals who have arrived from another country looking for work.鈥�
The team supports these individuals to upgrade their skills, secure further training, and obtain required certification, as well as provide workshops and one-to-one job coaching.
The Fall Hiring Fair takes place Sep. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1609 Bertram Street.
