A renowned show that infuses heavy metal anthems with "hauntingly beautiful energy" is coming to Penticton in 2026.

The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight will be at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) on April 2, as part of its upcoming Canada-wide tour.

Featuring 14 classical musicians, the 90-minute show will include cover performances of bands like Metallica, AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park.

Doors for the group's Penticton show open at 7 p.m. The show kicks off at 8 p.m.

Tickets go on sale on Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. They can be purchased at or the SOEC box office.
