Tickets are now on sale for the popular Dancing With The Vernon Stars fundraiging night. The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre.

Tickets are now on sale for the North Okanagan Hospice Society's (NOHS) marquee fundraiser, Dancing With The Vernon Stars.

The event is slated for Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Prestige Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre (doors open at 4 p.m.).

The evening's popular 50/50 draw officially launched July 18, giving supporters a chance to win big while contributing to a vital cause.

鈥淭his event is about community, compassion, and celebrating local talent 鈥 all while supporting hospice care right here at home,鈥 said Megan Cox, NOHS executive director. 鈥淓very ticket and 50/50 ticket sold means more hands-on care, grief support, and dignity for families facing end-of-life challenges.鈥

Dancing with the Vernon Stars features local personalities 鈥 performing in both solo and group dances 鈥 to raise critical funds for NOHS programs.

Team Boss Babez (Tetko Marchand, Chris Martens, Jenelle Brewer, and Marie Van Andel), and the husband/wife pair of Jolene and Dan Verkerk, aka, Slay The Night, have announced via social media that they are among the entries for the 2025 DWTVS.

The 2024 competition was officially the most successful event in the society鈥檚 history, raising more funds than ever, more than $271,000.

Members of the public are encouraged to purchase tickets early 鈥 this event sells out every year.

"Join us for a night of dance, community spirit, and giving back to a great cause," said Cox.
