PHOTOS: Fruit Float returns to Penticton Channel

Event participants meet at Coyote Cruises for music and prizes before taking part in a river float

The annual Fruit Float, organized by South Okanagan Similkameen (SOS) Pride, returned to Penticton on Saturday afternoon (July 26).

Event participants met at Coyote Cruises at 12:30 p.m. for some music, prizes, and photos before beginning a river float down the Penticton Channel, starting at 1 p.m.

The summertime gathering, which has run for the last several years, was free to attend.

SOS Pride encouraged event participants to bring colourful floaties and bright beach accessories.
