A flock of ducks had a family reunion thanks to fast acting staff at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD).
After a passerby noticed some distressed ducklings trapped under a grate in the CSRD parking lot on Wednesday, May 21, a handful of staff got 鈥渜uacking鈥� on a rescue mission.
鈥淭hanks to their quick alert, a handful of staff were able to step in and safely rescue the little ones and reunite them with their mother,鈥� said the CSRD in a social media post. 鈥淎 huge thank you to everyone involved, your kindness and teamwork made all the difference!鈥�
No word yet on whether the CSRD will put the rescue on the duck鈥檚 bill or just let it fly.
