Fun Fact of the day: No. 42 is the only number to be retired across all of Major League Baseball
The nation, led by President Bill Clinton, celebrated the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson鈥檚 historic entry into baseball by honoring him during a nationally televised ceremony at Shea Stadium. His number 42 was retired in in perpetuity. Each year on April 15th, baseball players wear the number 42 to honor Jackie鈥檚 legacy.

A comment on a local news post comparing a Black Lives Matter fist to a Nazi salute has resulted in the removal a board executive sitting on the 麻豆精选-Lake Country riding associations for both the federal Conservatives and BC Liberals.
In the post, Justin Neufeld wrote 鈥渁 BLM fist in the air is no different than a Nazi salute. Change my mind.鈥�
麻豆精选-Lake Country MLA Norm Letnick said 鈥渙bviously the BC Liberal Party and I don鈥檛 share his view鈥� in a tweet today announcing Neufeld鈥檚 removal from the riding association executive.
