Gosling gridlock: Geese take over 麻豆精选 parking lot

The geese waddled through the Orchard Park Mall lot

A family of geese trying to make their way to water caused a commotion recently in the parking lot of Orchard Park Mall.

Mother and father goose were walking their gosling near the SportChek entrance and had started using the crosswalk before wandering out in front of vehicles.

According to Shannon Laskowski, a driver of a van put on his flashers to help guide the geese safely to the end of the parking lot.

Laskowski got out of her car to help usher the birds along while flagging down other drivers to use caution while cruising the lot.

As the van slowly drove along, a parade of vehicles lined up behind all for the sake of the birds.

The geese apparently made it safely to the end of the parking lot and then waddled east down the sidewalk on Springfield Road.

Laskowski believes the geese might have been on their way to Mission Creek, but they did not make their plans known to those who helped them on their journey.
