麻豆精选 Rockets
It鈥檚 a Thanksgiving split for the Rockets, who look to get back into the win column at Prospera Place on Saturday night.
The Rockets (1-2-1) welcome the Spokane Chiefs (2-1-0) to town on Oct. 7. 麻豆精选 is coming off back-to-back losses in Prince George on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Saturday night鈥檚 contest is the first of a five-game homestand for the Rockets, who also play on Monday when they welcome the Victoria Royals to town.
Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday and 12:35 p.m. on Monday.
Okanagan Sun
The Okanagan Sun return to the Apple Bowl this weekend to complete a home-and-home series with the Prince George Kodiaks.
Last Saturday (Sept. 30), the Sun improved to 6-1 after they beat the Cougars 74-14. With that win, they currently sit in second place in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) going into the weekend.
Kick-off is at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
West 麻豆精选 Warriors
Is it ever too early in the season to say 鈥渢his is a big weekend,鈥 because that鈥檚 exactly what it is this weekend for the West 麻豆精选 Warriors.
On Friday and Saturday night, the team battles the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for first place in the BCHL鈥檚 Interior Division.
Going into the weekend, the two teams are atop the division with 3-1-0-0 records.
Friday鈥檚 game goes in Salmon Arm while on Saturday, the teams complete the home-and-home set at Royal LePage Place in West 麻豆精选. Both games start at 7 p.m.
麻豆精选 Chiefs
The Chiefs are also in action as they try to reach first place in the KIJHL鈥檚 Bill Ohlhausen Division.
Going into the weekend, the Chiefs are in second place in the division with a 2-4-0-0 record.
They welcome the 100 Mile House Wranglers to Rutland Arena on Friday, and then they had to up the highway to take on the Chase Heat on Saturday night. Both games are at 7 p.m.
