Justin Evans has hit the home stretch.
The 麻豆精选 sledder has reached the championship round of North America's Top Snowmobiler, an online competition produced by SnowTrax magazine and Ski Doo.
Evans is up against American Ben Hietpas in the final, with the winner to be determined by the most votes cast as of Feb. 9.
Evans was selected among thousands of applicants from across the continent to try and make their case鈥攖hrough a bio, videos and photos鈥攁s North America鈥檚 Top Snowmobiler.
An avid snowmobiler throughout the B.C. Interior, Evans had advanced through three rounds of the competition which began Dec. 2.
Meanwhile, Evans, the 麻豆精选 Snowmobile Club and the 麻豆精选 Snow Wheelers will be co-hosting a fundraiser for Central Okanagan Search and Rescue this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley Motor Sports in 麻豆精选.
The event will include a barbecue and silent auction.
