Former Penticton Panther, 麻豆精选 Rocket gets call to Hockey Hall of Fame

Former 麻豆精选 Rocket Duncan Keith has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame, class of 2025.

Duncan Keith is going into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The defenceman is part of the 2025 class going into the hall with Joe Thornton, Zdeno Chara, Alex Mogilny, Jennifer Botterill, Brianna Decker, Dani猫le Sauvageau, and Jack Parker.

Keith played two seasons (1999-2001) for the BCHL's Penticton Panthers where he collected 128 points (27 goals, 101 assists) in 119 games played.

After a season and a half at Michigan State University, Keith joined the 麻豆精选 Rockets for the remainder of the 2002-03 campaign, helping the team win its first Western Hockey League (WHL) championship. After putting up 46 points in 37 regular season games, Keith scored three goals and added 11 assists in 19 playoff games.

He was selected in the second round (54th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play 17 seasons (1,256 games) in the NHL, winning three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks.
