The playoff match-ups are set as the final game of the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League's 2025 regular season played out Friday night.
The Armstrong Shamrocks defeated the Vernon Tigers by a score of 15-9 at Vernon's Kal Tire Place June 27.
Owen Barker had a whopping six goals and two assists while Kian Yargeau netted a goal and seven assists to lead the Shamrocks on the scoresheet. Kyle Versteeg had two goals and two assists to go along with a game-high 14 penalty minutes (tied with teammate Mykl Drabuik), and Caden Peters scored a hat trick and added a helper for the team in green.
Darcey Rhodes led the way for the Tigers with three goals and three assists, while Ryan Johnson had four goals and one assist.
With the win, Armstrong secures home advantage against the Kamloops Rattlers in the first round of the playoffs. The first-place Kelowa Raiders will take on the last-place Tigers to start the postseason.
The playoffs begin July 4 with the Raiders and Tigers playing game one in 麻豆精选. Game two is set for July 11 and if necessary, game three will go July 18. All games start at 7:30 p.m.
The schedule for the best-of-three Shamrocks-Rattlers series has not yet been released.
