Josef passed away at Brookhaven on January 24, 2017 at the age of 89. He leaves behind his soulmate, Alice of 55 years, his sons Robert (Kathy) Lorsch of 麻豆精选, Werner (Hei Ke) Lorsch of Germany; granddaughter Judith Lorsch of Germany and lots of family and friends in Canada. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings in Germany and his son Dieter of Germany. Josef immigrated to Canada from Germany on June 5, 1961. He made his home in Bowsman, MB till 1985 when the family moved to 麻豆精选, BC. A special thank you to the staff of the McIntosh Unit of Brookhaven for the love and care of Joe, myself and family. A service will be held at a later date in Manitoba.
