A vehicle fire on Tavistock Road in Adventure Bay was quickly extinguished Monday morning.
Vernon fire crews arrived on scene to find employees of Nixon Earthworks with a water truck fighting the flames.
Black smoke could be seen rising from the area, just after 9:30 a.m.
The truck that caught on fire appears to be a landscaping vehicle that had pesticides in the back.
It鈥檚 unclear how the blaze started at this time.
