The Summerland Waterfront Resort recently received awards from multiple sources for its staff and the business overall.
Through Tripadvisor, an online travel guidance platform, the resort received the Travelers鈥� Choice Award and Best of the Best Award. The Travelers鈥� Choice Award is given to the top 10 per cent of hotels worldwide, while the Best of the Best Award is given to the top one per cent of hotels worldwide.
The resort was also named among the Top 25 Hotels in Canada.

鈥淭o be named among the top hotels in the country 鈥� and in the world 鈥� means that our guests see and appreciate the care our team puts into every stay.鈥�
In addition, Jaager received the Community Contribution Award through the British Columbia Hospitality Association.
The award is given to an individual who has made an impact through charitable work or social contributions, and who has positively influenced the province鈥檚 accommodation industry or their community.
Jaager has worked with initiatives that have benefitted the BC SPCA, Boys and Girls Club Okanagan, Canadian Mental Health Association and Wellspring Foundation. She said she has worked to create a strong workplace culture at the resort.
