A motorbike crash on Highway 5 claimed the life of the rider on Aug. 23.
Tk鈥檈ml煤ps Rural RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a crash on Highway 5 near the Timber Lake Forest Service Road at about 9:45 p.m.
Bystanders and BC Emergency Health Services provided life-saving measures on scene, but were unsuccessful.
Cpl. Dana Napier said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
鈥淭he motorcycle was reported to be travelling northbound at the time of the crash,鈥� said Cpl. Napier.
BC Highway Patrol attended and assisted with traffic control at the time of the collision.
