A Penticton man is facing charges after an incident in downtown 麻豆精选 Wednesday night.

A Penticton man faces potential charges after police checked on his well-being overnight in downtown 麻豆精选, only to find drugs.

Just after 3:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, an RCMP officer on patrol downtown 麻豆精选 checked the well-being of a male, discovered passed out, laying in the parking lot of a building in the 1400 block of Water Street.

Emergency paramedics with BC Ambulance Service were called to the location as the officer continued their attempts to wake the male, who eventually woke and was assessed by medical personnel.

He was positively identified by officers and allegedly determined to be in breach of his court ordered conditions related to a Recognizance of Bail.

The 30-year-old Penticton man was arrested.

During a search of their prisoner following his arrest, police seized over 4 grams of suspected Methamphetamine. He faces potential breach and drug related charges. He is expected to appear in court today.
