A 49-year-old man has been charged for a December assault in Penticton.
Shaun Richard Clauson has been charged with aggravated assault by the BC Prosecution Service, the Penticton RCMP announced on May 21.
Clauson had been arrested following the assault on Dec. 22, 2024 outside a restaurant in the 2400 block of Skaha Lake Rd.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Since being charged, Clauson was arrested and released on unspecified conditions.
His next scheduled appearance in Penticton Provincial Court is on June 4, 2025.
