Good morning. It's still shockingly cold outside, so we hope you're bundled up before heading anywhere. In the meantime, here's a few stories to get in the know about before you brave the great outdoors.

.) The cold has seemed somewhat tolerable because it came with blue skies. Today that won't be the case. Environment Canada said that it will be mainly cloudy today with a high of -11 C.  It would be OK to shed tears about this news, but they'll probably freeze to your face.

.) Today Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ may hear more news about a body found in the downtown last night. The police have not yet said whether the circumstances were suspicious or even weather-related.

.) Life within the Rutland Parks Society is getting interesting again. Reporter Alistair Waters dives back into the story.

.) The assessment news keeps going and here's one some of us didn't see coming — Lake Country has the highest average home price in the Central Okanagan.

.) Finally, check out this harrowing bit of video out of the Shuswap. The owner of the Barley Station Brew Pub on the corner of Shuswap Street and the Trans-Canada caught it.
