Good morning 麻豆精选.
Here's a few things to help kick start your day:
1) The weather. Environment Canada says while November was the warmest November of record, Dccember may be a little more normal. There's a little snow on the way. While today will be a mixture of sun and cloud and unseasonably warm at 6 C, snow is predicted for the weekend. The weather office says there could be five cm of the white stuff on the ground Saturday morning. City of 麻豆精选 works crews say they are ready for the snow.
2) Today is World AIDS Day. Marked around the world to remember those who have died from HIV/AIDSand to help raise awareness, the day has been marked by a proclamation from 麻豆精选 Mayor Colin Basran. An event will be held tonight at the 麻豆精选 Art Gallery.
3) It proved popular this summer, so organizers of the Rock The Lake outdoor music festival at 麻豆精选's Prospera Place are bringing it back next summer. The line-up for the 2017 edition will be announced this morning.
4) In sports, the 麻豆精选 Rockets knocked off the Tri-City Americans last night 4-1, following up their Saturday night win over the CHL's top team the Regina Pats.
5) Speaking of ice, it's time to lace up your skates because 麻豆精选's popular, free open-air ice rink in Stuart Park is scheduled to open today for the season.
