The feature film Beautiful Voice will be shooting in Kamloops from Oct. 24 to Dec. 2 and extras are needed
An open extras casting call will be held in 麻豆精选 on Saturday, Oct. 15 and the producers say they are looking for people of all ages they describe as having a "Middle Eastern or Mediterranean" look. East Indians, Hispanics, Africans, Aboriginals and people of mixed ethnicities are also being sought.
The casting call is scheduled for the Holiday Inn Conference Centre at 2429 Highway 97 North in 麻豆精选 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday. While there, applicants will have their their photos and measurements taken.
Anyone applying to be an extra in the film must be a Canadian citizen or have a valid work permit, and have a flexible schedule. There will be opportunities to work one or several days.
Travel to and from Kamloops will be provided for those hired.
The casting call will not be run by an agency, so there will not be any fees charged for photos or commissions charged for film work.
The pay, if hired, will be between $10.85 and $23.85 per hour.
In addition to the 麻豆精选 casting call, similar calls will be held in Vernon, also this Saturday, at the Fairfield Hotel, 5300 Anderson Way, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and in Kamloops on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Sahali Mall, through the back entrance, between noon and 4 p.m.
