Several weather warnings are in place for major B.C. highways.
From Friday night until Sunday morning, the Coquihalla Highway, Highway 3 from Hope to Merritt, and Highway 1 from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass are all expecting 20-30 centimetres of snow. It will start as a mix of rain and snow on Friday and as temperatures get colder, change to snow throughout Remembrance Day and into Sunday.
Despite all three highways having the same forecast, the Coquihalla has a special weather statement and winter storm warning alert while Highway 3 has a winter storm warning and Highway 1 only has a special weather statement.
鈥淲eather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions,鈥� says Environment Canada.
There is currently no alert for the Okanagan Connector from Environment Canada as West 麻豆精选 and 麻豆精选 are expecting a high of 9 C with rain on Saturday.
