When it comes to apples, it seems provincial boundaries in Canada are no barrier to sportsmanship鈥攅ven it means another province鈥檚 growers win the big prize.
B.C.鈥 鈥媋pples鈥 鈥媍aptured鈥 鈥媠everal鈥 鈥媜f鈥 鈥媡he鈥 鈥媡op鈥 鈥媠pots鈥 鈥媋t鈥 鈥媡his鈥 鈥媦ear鈥檚鈥 鈥婲ational Apple鈥 鈥婥ompetition鈥 鈥媋t鈥 鈥媡he鈥 鈥婻oyal鈥 鈥婣gricultural鈥 鈥媁inter鈥 鈥婩air鈥 鈥嬧媔n鈥 鈥婽oronto, including the titles of 鈥婫rand Champion鈥 鈥媋nd鈥 鈥婻eserve鈥 鈥婥hampion鈥 鈥媔n the鈥 New Varieties 鈥媍ategory.
But not without a little help from the Ontario Fruit Growers Association.
