Fred Fleck shared this postcard image of the promenade at City Park circa 1930s. He added that, 鈥淭his view of the promenade from the foot of Bernard to the Aquatic Building is one of my first and fondest memories of 麻豆精选.鈥

(From its first year as a park in 1909 the city had constructed a 12 foot wide raised wooden promenade that ran from the Park entrance at the foot of Bernard Ave to the small new Regatta buildings. It was later replaced by asphalt and then by interlocking bricks.)
