This historic photo is of the 麻豆精选 Memorial Arena, which was built in 1945 using a memorial fund given to the city after World War II and has a capacity of 2,600. It is notable for its unusually small ice surface of 180鈥� X 80鈥�. As well as numerous junior hockey teams, it once hosted the Buckaroos, the Spartans, the Packers, the Western Hockey League鈥檚 麻豆精选 Wings and the 麻豆精选 Rockets before they moved into the new Skyreach Place which became Prospera Place in 2003.
