More than 100 brave souls dipped into Okanagan Lake in Peachland as a brisk way to ring in the New Year.
The water was a chilly 2.2 C, while outside the temperature hovered around 5 C, serving as a good wake up call for the participants of the annual Polar Bear Dip.
Peachland Mayor Cindy Fortin even tempted the icy waters for her third year in a row.
鈥淚t is a great way to bring in the New Year, invigorate you and get you going,鈥� said Fortin. 鈥淚 love doing it.鈥�
Okanagan Lake was a busy place to be up and down the valley, as Polar Bear Dips were also held in Summerland, Penticton and 麻豆精选.
