A wildfire has sparked north of Kamloops on Heffley Louis Creek Road on Monday.
The blaze is an estimated 1.84 hectares in size and believed to be human-caused.
Flames are believed to be spreading in the area as temperatures reach 35 C and a heat warning is put into effect.
The fire was first reported just after 2 p.m., and BC Wildfire is responding to the area.
