Tax notices on their way to West Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡ property owners

Tax notices are in the mail for West Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡ property owners.

Residents are encouraged to pay their taxes and claim Home Owner Grants through the province before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, to avoid the 10 per cent late penalty.

Visit the province’s website gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call 1-888-355-2700.

West Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡â€™s new city hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except statutory holidays, at 3731 Old Okanagan Highway.

Residents are reminded that Monday, July 1, is a statutory holiday,

There is no after-hours drop box to leave in-person payments.

No front-counter service is available at the former City Hall at Mount Boucherie Community Centre.

Council adopted the 2024 Budget and Five-Year Financial Plan, which included a tax rate increase of 6.85 per cent for 2024 for municipal taxes.
