Run away truck spills load off Okanagan Connector

About 3 p.m. Thursday, May 23, a semi-truck lost control and had to use a run-away lane on Highway 97C near Brenda Mine.

It鈥檚 unclear what caused the truck to lose control, but a load of lumber was spilled onto the run-away lane.

The lane was blocked for a time Thursday evening, while emergency crews and a towing truck were on scene to clear the incident.
