After nine years of brewing in 麻豆精选, the popular BNA Brewing Co. is expanding to Vernon with a new location set to open this fall.
The brewery and eatery will be located in the half-century-old Finning building that sits near the northern end of the Okanagan Rail Trail on Kalamalka Lake Road. The Nixon Hospitality team is currently working on restoring the building.
Just like the 麻豆精选 location, the on-site craft brewery and large eatery will feature boutique 10-pin bowling lanes, as well as some more family friendly 鈥渄uckpin鈥� bowling lanes. There will also be a retro-inspired arcade and an outdoor bocce court for guests to use.
Okanagan founders Kyle and Carolyn Nixon opened BNA Brewing Co. in 麻豆精选 on June 1, 2015, and are looking forward to repeating that process in the North Okanagan.
鈥淲e are so excited to bring BNA to Vernon. For us, it starts with a great space, and we are very fortunate to have been provided an opportunity to build out a unique spot here in Vernon,鈥� said Kyle.
The industrial character of the location makes it a suitable place for the Nixons to bring their vision of Vernon鈥檚 BNA Brewing Co. to life.
鈥淲e love the two levels and the industrial roots of this building as it provides a completely different yet somehow familiar feel and experience to the brick and timber we have in 麻豆精选,鈥� said Carolyn.
Kyle, a former Vipers hockey player, is looking forward to spending more time in Vernon again.
