Peachland council advances budget with 6.65% property tax increase

The increase equates to a $111.72 annual increase for the typical single-family home assessed at $887,000

The 2025 budget was back before Peachland council on Tuesday, May 6.

The budget, which includes a 6.65 per cent property tax increase for residents, was given three readings by council.

The increase equates to a $111.72 annual increase for the typical single-family home assessed at $887,000. 

Council is scheduled to adopt the bylaws and tax increase at an upcoming meeting.
