Members of the Lake Country Art Council were celebrated at a dinner on June 29 as the organization comes to a close.
LCAC sat down for a farewell dinner at Peak O'Rourke Winery to recognize the people that made it possible - President James Dow, Grant Lawrence, Louise Boisvert, Jennifer Boal, Shari House and Edmund House.
鈥淲e鈥檇 like to thank all the former board members and volunteers who helped the LCAC operate over the past eight years, as well as recognize the support of the District of Lake Country,鈥� said Dow. 鈥淲e hope a new group can form and continue to support Arts and Culture within the community.鈥�
LCAC was founded in 2018, emerging from similar groups like Oceola Arts, Lake Country Performing Arts, and Lake Country Open Air Concerts.
