A healthcare worker was allegedly assaulted by a patient on Oct. 20 at a building near 麻豆精选 General Hospital.
RCMP responded to a report of an assault at about 4:45 a.m.
When officers arrived the victim who received minor injuries in the assault was already receiving treatment.
Interior Health responded to the incident following its standard procedure and stated it is, 鈥減roud of how the team worked together.鈥�
According to IH, the healthcare worker is now recovering at home.
Police have identified and located the suspect. 麻豆精选 RCMP will be submitting its investigation to the BC Prosecution Service.
