The Tea Party, Headstones and Finger Eleven have announced a nationwide tour, starting in Penticton on Nov. 25.

A nationwide tour that features three renowned Canadian rock bands is coming to Penticton.

The Tea Party, Headstones, and Finger Eleven 鈥 for the first time ever 鈥 are coming together for a tour, starting with the show at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) on Nov. 25.

"This tour is a rock lover鈥檚 dream come true," said singer Scott Anderson of Finger Eleven, which has scored multiple No. 1 hits including 2007's Paralyzer. "Finger Eleven, Headstones, and The Tea Party have never toured the country together. Never before has there been an opportunity for us to join musical forces."

The Tea Party, which formed in Ontario in 1990, jolted onto the progressive rock scene shortly after with hits such as Save Me and Temptation.

Headstones, meanwhile, are led by singer Hugh Dillion, who also had acting roles in Degrasssi and Flashpoint.

The band's debut record, 1993's Picture of Health, was certified as platinum in Canada.

鈥淲hat鈥檚 coming is a perfect storm of Canadian rock 'n' roll 鈥 an onslaught of the finest degree," Dillion said.

According to a release, the tour came about after decades of the three bands' members crossing paths at various music festivals around the world.

鈥淲hile I can鈥檛 believe it took this long for these three incredible bands to get together and head across our beautiful country, I promise all of you that it will have been well worth the wait," said the Tea Party's Jeff Martin. "Prepare yourselves for some truly memorable performances.鈥

The show in Penticton starts at 6:45 p.m. Tickets will be on sale starting Friday (June 20) at 10 a.m. on or at the SOEC box office.
