Graduation season is here, including some four-legged friends learning to help humans.

The Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) hosted a graduating event in the Okanagan May 25.

In Vernon, three graduating client-dog teams celebrated passing PADS at Predator Ridge.

Watching in admiration were nearly all of the 18 puppies-in-training from the Okanagan region.

"Graduation is more than just a milestone, it鈥檚 a powerful celebration of the life-changing partnerships formed over the past year," according to PADS. "It鈥檚 a time to honour the entire PADS community: devoted puppy raisers, dedicated sitters, tireless volunteers, generous donors, and most importantly, the clients whose lives have been transformed by their assistance dogs."
