Over the next few weeks, 麻豆精选 will start to see a new line of shared electric bikes deployed across the city.
Lime is launching its latest e-bike model, and 麻豆精选 will be one of the first cities to test out the new, more accessible and rider-friendly experience.
A fleet of 100 bikes will be delivered across the city.
Sonia Kandola, the senior director of government relations at Lime, said this bike is designed for a broader range of riders, including women and older adults.
鈥淟ime views launching the LimeBike in 麻豆精选 so early in the life of the new vehicle as doubling down on its commitment to the city, and as a way to highlight the amazing potential for micromobility in 麻豆精选, throughout British Columbia, and all across Canada,鈥� said Kandola.
Lime currently provides sustainable transportation options to 11 municipalities across the country. Since launching operations in Canada in 2018, 1.4 million riders have taken nearly 7.3 million rides on Lime鈥檚 shared e-bikes and e-scooters.
While in 麻豆精选, Lime riders have taken over 1.6 million rides since launching in 2021, covering 3.4 million kilometres, and ridership continues to increase year-over-year.
